On November 2nd, 2024, the Idaho State Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) were part of the Veterans Day Parade in Downtown Boise, Idaho. This was the 3rd year in a row we participated in the parade. Despite the fact it was a little chilly and a light rain was falling we had a great turnout lining the streets of Boise. SAR members consisted of State President Jack Currier, Fort Boise Chapter Vice President Randy Hudspeth, State Secretary Bill Flink, Fort Boise Secretary Rick Matkin, Idaho First Lady Denise Currier, Fort Boise Second Lady Ingrid Hudspeth and Bob Sheldon.
We are all thankful to the people of Boise for receiving us every year with loud cheers, clapping and salutes!
